🐾 JESSICA’S GERMANY TIPS: HEIDELBERG

🐾 JESSICA’S GERMANY TIPS: HEIDELBERG

These are Jessica’s tips from her 5 day trip to Heidelberg, Germany. Jess visited Heidelberg to experience the culture and food.

Any hotels, restaurants or activities especially awesome?

Philsophenweg – a walking path that philosophers and poets hundreds of years ago used to walk along. It’s higher up, across the river from the city and provides a beautiful view of this romantic, enchanting city.

Alte Brucke – a beautiful, romantic bridge connecting Heidelberg over the Neckar River. The entrance to the Philsophenweg path is directly across from this bridge.

Heidelberg Castle – beautiful history and view.

Dislikes/things you would have done differently?

Trapani does not require more than 2 nights – one day to explore Trapani and one day to visit San Vito lo Capo. In Favignana the kitchens do not open until 7:30pm or some even 9:00 pm for dinner. However, most of them serve aperitif specials – a drink and a yummy appetizer for 8 euros.

If you had one more day? One less day?

I spent more time than needed here as I was returning to my birthplace for the first time. However, this is a good place to base yourself to visit other castles and romantic German towns.
