HOW TO GET TO BARCELONA?

Barcelona has a major international airport, El Prat or BCN, that is located a 20 minute drive from the city center. There are direct flights to/from major cities in Europe (check EasyJet and RyanAir for fares/schedules) as well as most international destinations. A direct flight between New York City and Barcelona is about 7.5 hours and is offered by major U.S. carriers like United and American.

HOW TO GET AROUND BARCELONA?

Barcelona is a walkable city. There is no Uber but plenty of taxis. If you have more time, get to know the city’s extensive metro and bus networks.  A taxi from the airport to the city center will cost around EUR 25.
