WHERE TO STAY IN IBIZA?

The best, most convenient place to stay is anywhere in the south, close to the Salinas. There are lots of amazing accommodations in the center and north part of the island, but keep in mind that these places are isolated and you’ll end up driving 30+ minutes for food, drinks and activities.

La Granja ($$$$$) Bohemian farmhouse on gorgeous organic farm. Understated luxury, farm-to-table seminars and sunset mescal rituals.

Atzaro ($$$$) Nestled amid orange and lemon trees, this farmhouse hideaway has a peaceful pool, spa and amazing breakfast buffet. Located in countryside.

Amante ($$$) Beach club and restaurant carved into a cliff overlooking the ocean with phenomenal desserts, simply cooked mains and creative drinks. Don’t miss this scene!

La Oliva ($$$) In the heart of Ibiza Town, outdoor dining on a charming cobblestone street. Enjoy the lobster linguine, tuna tartar, burrata with tomato and basil.

Bambuddha ($$) Lots of bamboo, this fun spot has a temple-like setting. Go for dim sum and curry.

Cicale ($$) Local, organic and healthy Italian food. Don’t miss the pasta: gnocchi, tagliatelle and ravioli. Located in countryside, middle of island.

Es Torrent ($$) Rustic beachside spot with tons of great seafood and paellas. Ask about the fresh fish and lobster.

Ex Xarco ($$) Low key, family run beachside restaurant famous for its ham and fresh shrimp.

WHERE TO GO AT NIGHT IN IBIZA?

Clubs. Where else? There are of course tons of mellow bars, but you’re in Ibiza. Go big or go home. Check the clubbing party calendar here.

Heart ($$$) More mellow club  with amazing Cirque de Soleil collaboration. 

Pacha ($$$) One of the most well known clubs on the island.  

Ushuaia ($$$) Open air club with daytime drinks.  

Amnesia ($$) Go to experience the foam parties. Huge club with famous parties, Cocoon and Cream. 

DC10 ($$) Right next to airport and the best underground house music. 

Sunset Ashram ($$) Start out the night by watching the sunset on this boho beach bar. Great low key way to start the night. 

WHERE TO STAY IN MALLORCA?

If you want to be near the center of action, stay anywhere near Palma. Otherwise, head for the countryside. Deia is a bohemian and glam hilltop village in the northeast part of the island that’s not to be missed.

Cap Rocat ($$$$$) Some of the most luxurious digs in Mallorca are in a converted military fortress. Incredible snacks and sunset views from the daybeds. Jump off the hotel rocks to swim in the ocean.

Las Terrazas ($$) Relaxed, down to earth beach club 10 minutes outside of Palma with honest food.  

La Bóveda ($$) Tasty tapas in Palma in an unfussy setting.

HOW TO GET TO  IBIZA & MALLORCA?

If you’re coming from the U.S., fly into into Barcelona or Madrid for the best flight connections via EasyJet and RyanAir. Flight time is 30 minutes to an hour. There is also a regular ferry service from BarcelonaIf you’re already in Europe and its between May and September, check EasyJet and RyanAir and most major European carriers (we’re look at you, British Airways) as well. There daily non-stop flights from almost all major European cities. Skyscanner.net is the best search engine to find local flights from Europe.  

HOW TO GET AROUND  IBIZA & MALLORCA?

Both islands have taxis and public transport, but unless you have loads of time and patience, rent a car. You’ll make the most of your time on the islands and get to access all the remote, pretty beaches.
